During this treatment planning visit, we’ll walk through every step of the implant tooth replacement process and the costs associated with each to help you plan for this complex dental treatment and budget appropriately for all of the costs associated with your implant supported tooth replacement plan.

Planning & Preparation

Before we begin your implant tooth replacement plan, we’ll get started with a thorough planning session. Then, we may need to perform preparatory treatments like tooth extraction and tissue grafting to give you the best possible chances for successful implant placement.

Dental Implant Placement

Once we’ve completed the treatment planning and preparation process, you’ll be ready for the surgical placement of your dental implant posts. These implantation procedures require us to surgically position the implant into the jawbone. Then, we attach a protective cap that allows the surgical site to heal and the implant post to fuse with the supportive structures over the course of three to six months.

Abutments & Replacement Teeth

After the implant is fused with the supportive structures, we’ll attach the abutments to connect the implant and the replacement teeth. Then, we’ll design your replacement tooth, which is crafted by our trusted dental lab. When we receive the final crown, bridge, or denture from the lab, you’ll return to the dental office where we’ll affix your restoration to the implant post.

Dental Insurance & Financing Options

We bill for each step of the treatment process outlined above individually, giving you the opportunity to spread the cost of care out over the course of several months. Additionally, our team will process and file dental insurance claims to offset the costs of any treatments covered by your benefit plan. We are also happy to work with third party financiers to provide low and no interest payment plans.

Why Dental Implants are Worth the Investment

We understand that dental implant supported tooth replacement is a big investment that requires a great deal of time, but for many patients, the added cost and treatment time is nothing compared with all of the many advantages, including:

  • Permanence – most implant supported tooth replacement plans will stay in place and functional for three decades or longer compared with traditional tooth replacement options that typically need to be replaced every five to ten years.
  • Improved function – because the implant supported restoration is fully self-supporting, these restorations have significantly improved function. This is especially true for implant dentures that restore 70% or more of healthy tooth function.
  • Easier care – you can brush your implant supported restoration just like you would your natural smile, making them much easier to care for than removable partial and full dentures for many patients.
  • Natural appearance – held firmly in place with tooth root-mimicking dental implants, your replacement teeth will blend seamlessly into your natural smile.
