Meet Your Olmos Park Dentist, Christopher Walker, DDS, MS
Dr. Walker is a visiting dentist to the practice in effort to provide expanded services in a familiar setting to our pratients' comprehensive care.
Dr. Walker graduated from the University of Cincinnati before attending the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where he served on the Student Senate and chaired the Student Life Committee for the University of Denver Anschutz Medical Campus. He has been recognized by the Academy of Dental Materials and presented at their national meeting for his work in dental materials research. Dr. Walker was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award from the American Academy of Periodontology, the Certificate of Merit from the American Academy of Oral Medicine, and the Student Award of Merit from the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Walker completed his specialty training in Periodontics and received his Master’s degree in Dental Science from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He has specialty training in dental implants, periodontal plastic surgery, advanced bone grafting, periodontal disease treatment, and IV sedation. Dr. Walker conducted clinical research relating to bone grafting and dental implants during his residency for completion of his Master’s degree, which has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Periodontology.
Dr. Walker’s wife, Kati, is a practicing dentist in San Antonio. In their free time, he and his wife enjoy traveling and spending time with their baby girl and two dogs.
